Resin, wax and removers

Resin is what makes one-handed handling possible at speed: a tin of tacky wax applied to the fingers and palm. Water-soluble versions exist for venues that allow grip but not traditional resin. A remover spray takes it off hands, balls and equipment; floors need a dedicated cleaner, which is exactly why many American facilities ban it outright. Check your gym's rules before you buy, and if resin is banned, look at resin-free balls instead.

Protective gear, by position

Wings dive and land on the hip: knee pads and padded shorts.
Backs take contact on the shooting arm: elbow pads and arm sleeves.

Bags

A duffel with a separate ventilated shoe compartment is the match-day standard, 40 to 60 liters for a senior player. Ball bags carry six to twelve balls for a club, and backpacks suit youth players carrying one ball plus a kit.
